Tulsi is a native of the Indian subcontinent and tropical regions of Asia where it has been grown for over 5,000 years. As a tropical native it does not grow naturally in upstate New York! We plant Tulsi in our garden for use in our tincture. It smells amazing and is such a healing plant it is well worth the extra time to grow it! Tulsi is classified as an adaptogen and is known for mental clarity, stress /anxiety relief and respiratory isues among other benefits.

There are minor contraindications with taking Tulsi on a regular basis. Consult with your physicain if you are pregnant/nursing, diabetic or have thyroid complicaitons.
