Woodland Mushroom Cultivation - May 9th
This is an introductory class given by Steve Sierigk exploring the cultivation of woodland mushrooms on natural hardwood logs. We will focus on hardwood “bolt” inoculation using the “drill and fill” method but will demonstrate other techniques such as hardwood totems as well. Mushroom species covered will primarily include shiitake and oyster as well as a few others. We will also cover long term management techniques.
